G & J Seddon Limited are committed to ensuring continuous consideration to all aspects of our operations from the project inception stage, throughout the duration of the works to completion, with particular regard to issues such as: -
With regards to Sustained Construction Management and our efforts to preserve some of the world's natural resources, we opened our first Recycling Station in Bolton in January 2001. Waste materials from our sites and external sources are sorted into inert and non-inert materials. Products such as timber, glass, brick, blockwork, plastic and metal are sorted for recycling and salvage, thus significantly reducing the quantity of waste remaining to be transferred to landfill sites.
We are now extending our recycling operations under the name of CIRCLE “Construction Industry Recycling Centre for the Local Environment” throughout the North West of England in partnership with leading Housing Associations and Local Authorities. The Recycling Centre
Transport & The Environment G & J Seddon Limited operate a large modern transport fleet, using energy
efficient fuels, enabling us to organise and control the transportation of labour
to and from our construction sites, thus reducing air pollution and road congestion. |
