Bid Writer / Business Development Person / New Business Support Person

G & J Seddon is a family owned and managed Construction Company with a turnover in excess of £ 100m operating in the North West. The company operates in a number of sectors including - maintenance, decent homes refurbishment, affordable housing development, care, education, and commercial.

The role is to support the procurement team and produce necessary information required as part of the tendering process.

Duties will include:
 Review of OJEU Notices
 Production of PQQ’s
 Production of tender support documents
 Production of written tender submission documents
 Production (and management) of Presentations
 Management of CRM system
 Project Management of Site Visits
 Maintenance of Knowledge Management System


Key Skills required include:
 Approachable “People Person”
 Experience of construction activities
 Good organisational skills
 Ability to work to Deadlines
 Ability to coach responses from our construction teams
 Good standard of English
 Creative Writer
 Understanding of Public Sector Procurement Methods & Customer needs
 Eye for detail and design
 Desk top publishing skills - proficient in word, power point and other software packages
