Company Safety Policy Satement
Health and Safety is the first consideration in all our activities. Our policy is structured around leadership, resources, training and competence which we believe underlies our culture.
Our in-house Safety Department supports our Construction Managers and development staff through the whole process of construction from inception to operation / use. Our intention is to design out risk.
Safety training is structured planned and maintained for all our staff and operatives. Competencies are key in selection of people for projects. We aim for 100% CSCS cards for our workforce.
Supply chain competence is checked before being selected to our approved status. Performance is then measured and monitored in a continual process.
Site Safety Committees are established to create exclusivity with members from supply chain, customer and community groups represented.
On site activities such as tool box talks and worker engagement ensures that all aspects of health and safety are considered.
Discussions with the neighbours surrounding our sites and activities are encouraged and compliments our Associate Membership of the Considerate Constructors Scheme. Our community awareness approach in providing health and safety talks in local schools and providing cycling proficiency training assists in awareness raising and avoidance of issues.
